I haven't written one of these in two months, so I figured it's high time to write something new.  I've been testing out some new inks lately, so I've been posting some work that's not painted, but I'll be working on some new colored pieces shortly.  I have a group show coming up in July at Modern Eden in San Fran, which should be a lot of fun to work on.  It's based around myths and folklore, so I found a Japanese story about a creature that licks dirty bathrooms with its poisonous tongue if children don't keep it clean...one of the weirder ones that I found.  

I also just joined instagram, which I'm finding very addicting.  If you want to find me on there just search by my username, sbelmarsh.  It's really cool to be able to see artists posting their work as it's being created and how things develop.  It's less cool to see pictures of people's dinner, but you take the good with the bad.

I still haven't figured out how to make pictures from instagram post to Facebook, but I'm still on there as well [link]
